Defined ID is an interior design studio offering services to residential and commercial clients. Just like us, every space features its own individual character, telling a unique story. As designers, it is our mission to look beyond the surface, understand the personality of the space, and create a design highlighting it's true identity.
As every interior has its own DNA, our goal is to enhance our client's well-being by providing exceptional and memorable spaces to interact with and enjoy. About Us
Defined ID was founded by two professionally trained interior designers, Michelle Mallette and Rita Dielle Broussard, who have a combined 10 plus years of experience. The pair met while working together at one of the top hospitality design giants in Dallas, Texas.
After years of working together, they decided to become partners and in January of 2020 Defined ID was born.

With Great Designing Comes Great Responsibility
Michelle
Michelle has always been a personable, imaginative and enthusiastic person. As a young girl from Detroit, Michigan, Michelle was indirectly taught about the design world. Admiring the beautiful interiors, architecture, artwork and creative culture of the city, was her earliest exposure. Michelle received her Bachelors in both Studio Art and Global Business in 2014 and her Master’s in Interior Architecture and Design from Florida State University in 2016. Just weeks after graduating, she moved to Dallas, TX to follow her dreams as a hospitality designer. She’s been grateful to work for significant firms and be a part of superlative national and international hotel projects, however, nothing compares to the pride and joy that is Defined ID.
Fun Facts about Michelle:
I have worked as a professional makeup artist for 9+ years.
I’ve been obsessed with Mariah Carey since I was a child.
I am married to my high school sweetheart (our wedding was in Santorini, Greece last year).
My brother was the first person to teach me about architecture and interior design when I was a kid (and yes...he also became a designer).
Rita Dielle, NCIDQ
Rita Dielle is known for her lively, steadfast, and expressive personality. Growing up in Lafayette, La, she was exposed to art and design during her youth from her grandmother. She always knew that she wanted to become an interior designer and entrepreneur. She attended college at Louisiana Tech University and received her bachelor's degree in Interior Design (BID). Soon after graduating, Rita Dielle moved to Dallas, Tx to pursue her career as a hospitality designer designing hotels nationwide. She has worked for notable design firms across the city and gained valuable experience that allowed her to begin her own design firm in January 2020.

I am usually the loudest person in the room.
My Favorite color changes based on the mood I am in.
I love to travel and collect postcards from every place I visit.
